There are two distinct versions of the American NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination), the first of the two is the NCLEX-PN which is reserved and used by Vocational/Practical nurses. Nurses4America specializes in the second variant, the NCLEX-RN which is for Registered Nurses. Those nurses who are eligible for the NCLEX-RN exam and pass it will then in turn be eligible for the US visa and Green Card (this will allow themselves, their spouse and any children under the age of 21 to reside in the United States of America).
The National Council of State Boards of Nurse (or more commonly known as the NCSBN) designed and created the exam as a means to test the nurses on a variety of different subjects, effectively testing their skills, knowledge and abilities. This is to ensure that the Nurse has a clear and present understanding of how to nurse safely within the United States of America.

“Entry into the practice of nursing in the United States and its territories is regulated by the licensing authorities within each jurisdiction. To ensure public protection, each jurisdiction requires a candidate for licensure to pass an examination that measures the competencies needed to perform safely and effectively as a newly licensed, entry-level registered nurse.
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) develops two licensure examinations, the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses and the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses that are used by state and territorial boards of nursing to assist in making licensure decisions.”
How do I pass the NCLEX exam the first time?

You will have access to our training program for 12 months. It should take you about 6 to 9 months of study time, but we provide you extra room as we understand that sometimes life gets in the way of study, despite your best intentions to fit it in. We recommend studying using our program for around 7 hours a week (although you are free to study for longer, but this amount has been most successful).
